Endgame Studies

I have written about chess endgame studies monthly (mostly) since 2006 in CHESS and I have worked with Roland Ott to produce a column in Schweizerische Schachzeitung since 2014.

I am slowly posting my articles for CHESS on this site – use the menu on the left to start viewing them.

The articles in Schweizerische Schachzeitung, in Swiss-German of course, can be seen in the complete magazines downloadable from the Swiss Chess website. Our articles start with issue 7 of 2014. You can view an index of the studies we have written about by selecting the 'SSZ Index' menu item on the left.

Some years ago I was pleased to direct a study composing tourney to celebrate the 50th birthday of John Nunn. Select the menu item on the left to view the award.
